Job Purpose
  • As an Internal Sales Consultant, you’ll be responsible to drive new business and build relationships with clients (Financial Advisors/RIAs) in a specific geographic territory.
  • Additionally, you’ll collaborate with a Regional Sales Consultant to develop and execute territory business plans to their full potential.
Responsibilities
  • Cultivate relationships and secure new business with top financial advisors in an assigned territory
  • High outbound activity levels (phone calls, conference calls, emails, webex) that lead to quality new business opportunities
  • Show initiative by identifying new business opportunities and conducting research to better understand client needs
  • Execute territory business plans in coordination with Regional Sales Consultant counterpart
  • Develop a strong understanding of Innovator’s product line and competitive landscape
  • Diligent use of Innovator’s CRM system and internal resources to ensure maximum business efficiency
  • Travel as needed within territory to conduct meetings with clients, assist with client events, and attend industry conferences
Requirements
  • Education: Bachelor's Degree
  • Licenses: FINRA Series 7 & 63
  • Experience: 1-3 years of sales experience preferred
  • Strong leadership, interpersonal, problem-solving, and written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to effectively partner with others to develop, maintain and broaden relationships
  • Genuine professionalism coupled with a solution-based drive to meet highly accountable results
