Job Purpose
Innovator Capital Management (Innovator)—one of the nation’s most disruptive and fastest growing exchange traded fund (ETF) providers, is seeking a senior graphic designer to join the firm’s marketing team. Your creative design talents and innovative mindset will be a catalyst for advancing the Innovator brand and expanding sales in the firm’s award-winning product lines.

In this role, you will report directly to the Chief Marketing Officer and have regular interactions with sales, product strategists, and senior management. The keys to success include balancing multiple projects at once, strong communication across all departments, and swift execution of deliverables for forward-thinking marketing initiatives that reach financial professionals around the country.
  • Lead creative design of marketing programs including: financial product marketing material, e-mail promotions, videos, website pages, display/social ads, advertisements, brochures, research papers, presentations, graphic updates, and deliverables for search engine marketing.
  • Discover and organize graphic design elements including imagery, video clips, animation, icons, logos, and other visual elements in order to maintain an unwavering Innovator brand.
  • Produce clean, organized, and technically accurate files that are ready to share with internal stakeholders.
  • Collaborate with marketing team to assess, conceptualize, and develop new marketing concepts and initiatives that drive sales and further awareness for the Innovator brand.
  • Learn and understand Innovator’s product lines and their applicable disclosures.
  • Design eye-catching digital assets that lead to higher levels of engagement and increased click-through rates, as well as sales growth where possible.
  • Collaborate with junior designers, copywriters and product strategists.
  • Translate marketing objectives into clear creative with the customer journey in mind.
  • Research up-to-date and emerging technologies and developments in the design field and implement them when appropriate.
  • Other duties may be assigned based on skill, knowledge, and proficiencies.
  • Expertise with Adobe Creative Suite and Microsoft Office (e.g., InDesign, Photoshop, Illustrator, Acrobat, Premier (or other video editing software), MS Word, PowerPoint, and Pardot).
  • Experience editing short videos (talking head and/or animated).
  • Proficiency in UX/UI design to facilitate layout of websites, e-newsletters, landing pages, blogs, and mobile applications.
  • Ability to develop the overall layout and production of both print and electronic visual materials.
  • Strong organization skills with the ability to multi-task, prioritize and meet deadlines, with a strong attention to detail.
  • Ability to run multiple projects every day at varying stages of approval.
  • Experience in HTML/CSS is a plus.
  • B.S. or B.A. in Marketing, Graphic Design, Communications, Business, Human-Computer Interaction (HCI) or related field.
  • 3+ years of marketing and design experience
  • A portfolio with digital emphasis that exhibits creativity and professionality
  • Highly developed skills in Adobe Creative Suite (InDesign, Illustrator, Photoshop, Premier Pro, XD).
  • Experience working with legal disclosure is a plus
  • Excellent communication skills while demonstrating the capacity to listen to internal clients/stakeholders and incorporate feedback
